5 Magical Manx Wedding Venues
As some of you may know, I’m a BIG Harry Potter fan, so for my next blog, I thought I’d share my top 5 magical wedding venues on the Isle of Man:
| Milntown |
Exquisite Estate
Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a wedding reception with your nearest and dearest, or a larger affair for up to 100 guests, Milntown has something for everyone. You can even set up a modest marquee on the grounds for up to 200 people (subject to season and additional charges). There are also three self-catering apartments on site, so you can get ready and stay there afterwards — everything in one handy location. At the time of writing, Milntown was able to accommodate ceremonies.

| Amisfield House |
Stately Home
The on-site function room holds up to 60 guests, or you can hire a marquee for the grounds (subject to season and additional hire/add-ons apply). The marquee can be styled to complement the surrounding gardens — ZoLo’s favourite way is by bringing the outdoors in! Amisfield House can accommodate ceremonies, but it’s not an approved location as of this writing, so extra fees will apply. There’s also a room available for getting ready in the morning—no running late to your own wedding!

| Rushen Abbey |
Astonishing Abbey
The guest house accommodates up to 50 people, or you can host 100 in the gardens. (It’s an approved venue, so no extra approval costs required!) What to live your fairytale dream with a magical theme — why not Harry Potter? It’s perfect for creating an unforgettable experience. The nearby Abbey Restaurant is an ideal spot for your reception, seating up to 70 guests depending on the setup.

| Sunset Lakes |
Lakeside Lodge
This modern, spacious lodge in Peel is perfect for a wedding reception of 80–120 guests. It can also host your ceremony for an additional license fee. If you book early enough, you can reserve the on-site lodges for getting ready and overnight stays. The central lake provides a stunning backdrop for your first photos as a married couple.

Get married on the outdoor patio surrounded by beautiful blooms, then celebrate your reception in a marquee set within the well-kept, expansive grounds — a stunning and serene setting for your special day.
